Kylie Rose (she/they) is a multidisciplinary designer and Pratt Institute graduate with a BFA in Communications Design, creating work that bridges art, design, and social practice. Driven by a commitment to community engagement and social impact, she explores the formal and conceptual possibilities of art direction, editorial design, typography, animation, music, collage, fiber arts, tattooing, photography, and collaborative creative practice. She is currently based between Asbury Park, New Jersey, and Brooklyn, New York.
She is inspired by early punk album artwork, bold color palettes, avant-garde textile design, maximalist compositions, and unexpected typography pairings. Their work is inherently process-focused, finding the most inspiration in the experimentation rather than the final product.
When she has free time, she's probably antiquing, working on a crochet project, record shopping, or drinking an oat milk cortado.
